John Fitzmaurice

Founder/CEO

John Fitzmaurice is an innovative, real estate expert in the multi-family rental industry. As the founder of JCF Living and creator of the patented “Housements®”, John develops and manages income producing rental communities across the Southeastern U.S. At its inception, JCF Living’s genesis included the development of a unique design that has since procured US Patent rights. John believes the key to success is to establish JCF Living as the leading developer of its new rental product called Housements®.

Richard Jones

Chief Investment Officer

Richard is a partner with John Fitzmaurice in JCF Living.  On a day-to-day basis, Richard focuses on the financial architecture for the JCF rollout and works with John on overall strategy and implementation.  Richard served as Chief Investment Officer of Irby Investments LLC, a single-family office located in Nashville, Tennessee.  He oversaw all investments of the family office including real estate, private equity, and various direct investments.  Previously, he was a Managing Director at IPX, an intellectual property advisory and analytics firm monetizing over $400 million of intellectual property.  Prior to that, Richard arranged the financing for and served on the buyout team of one of the first all-debt backed public-to-private transactions in the UK (Jones Stroud Holdings plc, later CMT).  He was founder and CEO of Medicor, a medical device firm that introduced breakthrough devices and sensors used in minimally-invasive surgery, and ultimately sold it to a strategic buyer.  Richard’s career began at IBM.

Richard serves, and has served, on the boards of several private companies and non-profits.  He earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and graduated with a BA from Olivet Nazarene University.

DeWayne Blackwell

Managing Director of Construction

Dewayne is a hardworking, driven, and charismatic individual with 41 years of experience within assembly production. He started on the assembly line as an electrician for Champion in 1981, and quickly advanced to production manager. Previously, he worked as a Corporate Production Manager for Liberty Homes, managing 8 different plants. It was this role at Liberty Homes and his previous position at Clayton homes that provided the necessary preparation for this current role at JCF. His role as the Director of Manufacturing at Clayton Homes included the supervision of 40 factories. It was this role that challenged his mindset, and propelled him to a company that was more cutting-edge.

His current role at JCF includes complete management of all Housement® construction: from engineering, purchasing, production, the administration of Housement® construction, managing the subsequent workflow, supervising the production team, and enforcing quality standards.

Why JCF? – “John and the team really embrace the passion I have to be different and try different things. They want to move the modular production process forward, instead of doing the same thing as other modular production companies. I think, in the future, a lot of people will see what we are doing and say that makes sense. We’re pushing the envelope.

Curtis Wahle

Managing Director of Development

Curtis Wahle is a seasoned real estate development and commercial construction professional. Curtis comes to JCF with 30 years of experience in the building industry, spending the last 20 years in the New York City Metro area working on residential projects in the high-end and ultra-high-end market spaces. Curtis’s charge with JCF Living as its Director of Development is to push JCF’s vision to the next level by incorporating concepts and deliverables acquired in his professional journey. As Director of Development Curtis is responsible for the development operations related to site acquisition, site development, product design, vertical construction, and project delivery. Curtis is proud to be working with a very professional staff at JCF Living and is confident that the future for JCF is bright and endless.

Tim Mabry

Chief Financial Officer

Tim Mabry is a results-oriented professional with over 35 years of accounting and finance experience with manufacturing, distribution, and land development companies. Tim comes to JCF Living after 25 years at the Controller and CFO level where he has led many teams on numerous projects.

Most recently, Tim has been blessed to work side-by-side with his wife and 3 sons in their family-owned hardscape and landscape business that his oldest son owns and operates. He has worked closely with builders, contractors, and homeowners and has done everything from quoting jobs to running heavy equipment and accounting.

As the Corporate CFO, Tim’s role is to ensure structure, stability, timeliness, and accuracy within the accounting department as it relates to JCF’s multiple entities. Tim looks forward to a very bright and exciting future with JCF Living as we build communities together.

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma Christian University.

Al Bell

Director of Accounting-Construction

Al Bell’s career has spanned over 35 years of progressive analytical and international (Japan, Great Britain, Mexico, and Sweden) management experience in manufacturing, accounting, finance, and purchasing. His industry experience includes utilities, aircraft maintenance, OEM, Tier 1 automotive, vinyl window manufacturing, and outsourced accounting services. His most recent role was Purchasing Controller for Nissan North America.

 

Al serves as the Manufacturing CFO of JCF Housements Manufacturing, where he utilizes his deep knowledge and experience in ERP system implementation, complex bills of material, and cost modeling to help JCF succeed and excel in the implementation of this exciting new rental community development concept.

Outside of work Al enjoys relaxing at his farm with his wife Lisa, spending time with his grandchildren and his dog Max, serving as a volunteer business coach and mentor, and volunteering in various ministries at The Church at Station Hill in Spring Hill, TN.

Kimberli Khepri

Director of Asset Management

Kimberli Khepri has 30+ years’ experience in Real Estate. She has managed portfolios over $800MM in value and has provided ROI returns above 155%. Her experience in commercial real estate includes Multi Family, Student Housing, Office, Retail and Industrial assets. She has served as a director in asset management for the past 20 years. Her national portfolio required responsibilities such as setting up processes that monitor the training and management of her staff. In doing so, she has successfully hired or set up internally, Property Management companies and Asset Management departments as well as manage over 7000 Tenant in Common investors. Some of the established relationships were in hiring property management companies such as Alliance, Greystar, Riverstone and many others in their personalized local markets, as needed. She has worked with successful developers adding value and growth to the company’s bottom line often working on corporate trajectory and budgeting. Her track record is brought forward with JCF Living pulling from vast experience on a new asset type that is sure to lead how real estate is done in the future.

Ryan Fitzmaurice

Senior Vice President of Operations

Ryan is the Senior Vice President of Operations at JCF Living. He graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance with an emphasis on Real Estate. Ryan comes with an extensive background of real estate and development.

Ryan works across all facets of the company including finance, development, marketing, and management. Ryan’s current responsibilities include the participation of negotiations and closings of land acquisition, the planning for future developments, preliminary financial analysis, and direct activities with architects, engineers, and other consultants to plan projects related to land entitlement, site permits, and closing activities. Ryan works closely with all team members to ensure clear direction for developmental success of properties from start to finish. 

Walter Parker

Director of Land Acquisition

Water Parker comes with 15+ years of experience in negotiating and executing land purchases with owners and brokers through focused site selection efforts, permitting experience and proforma/financial modeling expertise.

He will work closely to source, vet, and purchase suitable properties and negotiate agreements, while managing deal flow from the start of site identification to opening by overseeing internal and external stakeholders. He will also oversee our land funds as JCF continues to expand. Walt possesses all the tenacity and skill sets necessary to target properties in JCF’s ideal markets.
